My love of the outdoors has been one of the main drivers in my photography. The experience of getting out into nature is unrivalled. It is great for the soul and for the body.
When out photographing the landscape, you immerse yourself in the environment, looking for interesting compositions - leaving all other stresses of life behind.
I love nothing more than picking a trail and seeing what draws my attention at that point in time.
Travelling the UK
Capturing domestic landscapes and searching for the beauty our little cluster of countries has to offer, whether that is national parks, mountains or the British coastline
Travelling internationally
Capturing scenes further afield - sampling cultures and environments to find scenes that draw my attention.
Epic or understated
Sometimes it is a fantastic vista or a honeypot location that is the reason I press the shutter. Other times I look for the details and to tell the story of a location through a series of photographs.
