Tiny harbours - Keiss

Keiss Harbour, Wick, Caithness, Scotland

I was staying in Wick last summer (yes, these photos were shot in June) and a quick look on the map pointed me to Keiss harbour less than 20 minutes north.

This appears to be an active harbour with a number of boats all moored up. Although no people knocking around for a chat to get any history or a local feel for the place. That did allow me to shoot and get the abandoned feel that I quite like when shooting in these locations in the far north of Scotland.

The old fisherman’s building (probably what it is called?) has been converted to flats which would be a great airb&b location, unsure if these are on that site, but they should be if not.
